HR Generalist
Location: West Los Angeles
Schedule: hybrid onsite | Tuesday and Wednesday onsite (Monday, Thursday, Friday remote) 9am-5:30pm schedule (about 30 hours per week)
Duration: long-term temp coverage (through August 2026)
Salary: $27/hr-$30/hr

Job Description: Supporting the HR department/~110 employees with onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and talent acquisition. Ensuring HR operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant with California and federal employment laws.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in employee lifecycle from new hire on-boarding to employee exits
* Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications
* Assisting with the new hire onboarding process including scheduling orientation and overseeing the completion of new-hire paperwork
* Assisting with the offboarding process for departing employees and interns
* Assisting with employer sponsored benefits as needed - mostly just making sure employees have completed paperwork in system
* Coordinating meeting and training sessions
* Producing and submitting reports on general HR activity
* Assisting with ad-hoc HR projects
* Supporting other assigned functions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree required
* 3+ years of previous direct Human Resources experience
* Previous experience with HRIS required, ADP preferred
* Possess effective oral and written communication skills
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
